Color: Garnet-purple and crystal clear. Taste: Very complex. Rich, yet light. Tannin is present. A sweetness shows through the wine's dry character.
Aroma: Powerfully fragrant and pleasant. Comments: 1975 was a quintessential year. Professional Comments: This wine is class! It is so powerfully fragrant and pleasantly
aromatic. The nose is marvelous and sensual. If you smell it, then remove the glass away from your nose, a strange sweet after-smell "poofs" into your senses. The wine feels soft on the palate. When I tasted it, I could
see bright sparkles swirling around with my tongue - what magic! The taste is very rich, yet light. Tannacky, yet there is a certain sweetness to it. But still it is dry. So complex for a 4 year old (it was
tasted in 1979). Garnet-purple in color and crystal clear. The legs fall immediately and quickly - thin legs. So smooth and drinkable. I have been charmed by this gem. A beautiful experience!
Food Match: Although wine is made to go with food, I would recommend you enjoy this wine by itself - this is a wine to be enjoyed and pondered. If you must, perhaps with a simple crusty bread and double cream Brie.
